All 101 DR Mission Team volunteers traveled to Batey 50 on the day of Saturday, June 30, for an inspiring and unforgetable day with the people in one of the poorest Haitian sugarcane villages in the Dominincan Republic. The day was included special tshirts for all, games, face painting, clowns, Zumba, a concert, and a meal shared by all. It also included the dedication of two new homes, part of the DR Mission Team's Fifty for 50 project to rebuild all of the shacks in this village with safe, sturdy cinder block houses. The day concluded with a hike up a small hill next to Batey 50, where the stunning views of the valleys and mountains were stunning.
