Farm to Table Dinner Set for September 7

Come out for a very special night of elegant dining under the stars, all while supporting the building of new homes by local volunteers in the Dominican Republic.

The Dominican Republic Mission Team's "Farm to Table Dinner" is set for Saturday, September 7, 6pm-9pm, at the PNA Park n Wallingford. Cost for this event is $100/per person, and 100% of all proceeds will support the building of new homes for families in the La Romana, DR, barrio known as Kilometer 6. Since 1990, the DR Mission Team, based in Wallingford, CT, has led thousands of local volunteers to serve in the very poor bateyes and barrios of the La Romana area of the Dominican Republic. This past year, over 180 volunteers, ranging in age from 10 to 80 years old, served alongside partners in the DR to build homes, schools, and a hospital; provide remote medical clinics; distribute food to the hungry; provide educational opportunities and to thousands of children; install solar panels and other infrastructure projects; and work with local churches to share the hope of Christ.
