Fulfilling Smiles offers a unique opportunity to help solve the problem of hunger and starvation in one of the poorest areas of the world. Over the last several years, Fulfilling Smiles has provided several weeks of meals to each family in a variety of bateyes in the La Romana, DR region.

Plans are underway to develop sustainability food programs to address long-term hunger issues, and the initial proposal will purchase a small farm near several bateyes and that will provide animals for families in the bateyes. This will not only help erase hunger in these bateyes but also provide mico-business opportunities for many. This will enable Fulfilling Smiles to meet its mission of providing for the immediate needs of these families as well as opportunities and education they need to sustain themselves nutritionally.
